Banda de metal industrial liderada por el ex guitarrista de Nine Inch Nails, Richard Patrick. Su álbum debut lanzado en 1994 titulado "Short bus" fue seguido de "Title of record" (1999), siendo su último lanzamiento hasta el momento "The Amalgamut" en 2002. A Finales de 2005, Richard Patrick disolvió temporalmente Filter para crear el Proyecto "Army of Anyone" con los ex miembros de "Stone Temple Pilots" Robert y Dean DeLeo.
